I BELIEVE THIS HAS CAUSED MANY TO EXAGGERATE THE SIZE AND STRENGTH OF THE FINAL CALIPHATE OF ANTICHRIST.

To many preachers, pastors, teachers, and Bible expositors this is a very simple question! And they seem startled that I would even pose such a stupid question.

The answer that I normally receive runs something like this: Brother, when God’s Word says “the whole world” it means “the whole world,” and when it says “all the earth” it means “all the earth.” What’s the matter with you, don’t you believe God’s Holy Book? When God delivered His Word to the writers of the Old and New Testaments, expressions like “the whole world, all the earth, and wherever men dwell,” meant the known world of that day. So how can we be so all fired certain that we have been given God’s authority to enlarge its definition with the passage of time? Of course, there is no question that God, who made earth, knew its size from the beginning, but where did we get the authority to change the meaning of the way He meant to be understood in the minds of those to whom he initially wrote it? For better or for worse, I believe modern day expositors have made a serious mistake in expanding the size of the antichrist’s empire as world exploration kept increasing the size of the earth. I previously laid out a case to prove my point linguistically as to how God uses expressions throughout his Word that some think mean the whole world as we know it today, but it reality do not by his use of the hyperbole. As each new continent, each new land mass, each new island, and each new ice burg was located by exploration, we changed the original meaning of the Scriptures to fit the ever expanding size of the world. I do not believe we were justified in doing this, and that because we have done it, we have expanded the antichrist’s empire into one that rules all men from Pole to Pole and around a 360-degree girth of longitude. We are now looking for an antichrist that will rule all the men on this present earth. As a result of this looking for such a man, we are not going to recognize the true antichrist when he does come on the scene. He will not dominate all the world as we know it today. He will dominate the world that was in existence through the period of Daniel’s four beasts.

Revelation 13:2 – And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

John is looking back some 700 years in time to Daniel’s four beasts, of which three, in Daniel’s day, were still future. John is writing in the days of Daniel’s fourth beast. The first beast of Daniel, the Babylonian Lion Empire, was crushed by the Medo-Persian Bear Empire, which was conquered by the Macedonian Leopard Empire, only to suffer the same fate by Daniel’s fourth Roman Empire beast. The last evil empire on this planet will be that of the antichrist. His empire will take in all the territory covered during the expansions of the four beast empires. When the antichrist first attacks Israel he will lead 10 Islamic nations, which were all occupied at times by the old Roman Empire. I believe the most likely candidates are Morocco, Algeria, Libya, Tunisia, Sudan, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, and the PA. After the antichrist conquers Egypt (Daniel 11:43,44), then Jordan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and all the other Islamic nations to the borders of India, will quickly accept him as their ruler. Within months Europe will come under his dominating influence. I fully expect him to rule all the land occupied by the four beasts during their maximum expansions, but I do not believe he will dominate the western hemisphere nations.

The Islamic followers claim their false God Allah did not come as a sinless man in perfect flesh to offer it for their sins on the cross, and then rise from the dead. The Islamic faith teaches that Jesus was a Muslim prophet born of the Virgin Mary, and was not crucified, but was carried into heaven by Allah in the flesh, where he now waits to return during a time of great chaos in the last days when their Mahdi is killed in battle.

I promised that at the end of Part 3 of the Series I planned to individually deal with the things appearing in Luke 21:11. I have waited for 40 years for what the world now sees happening in the Middle East and in worldwide world ethnic riots, as well as those that have already occurred in America, including the one now occurring in Missouri. I knew from many Scriptures that ethic cleansing, ethnic riots, famine, and pestilence had to one day dramatically increase, as the worldwide population rose higher and higher. How in the world did I know it had to happen?

I knew it as a Christian who believes the inspired word of Almighty, and as a man who is a Christian Scientist, whose eternally saved soul is daily being converted and trained in truth and true science by the spirit and word of Jesus Christ. And do allow me to those who believe God is dead or that he never existed, I an also a man who God caused to be educated in a Seminary, many Military Institutions of Higher Learning, Colleges, Universities, and I served in Vietnam when I could have gotten out of it by leaving service, but God let me know I needed to pay my dues, and I left my wife and pregnant wife with my Mom in Little Rock, Arkansas with 5 children. I tried to come home for a brief stay when he was born in December, via the American Red Cross, but they turned me down. Neither myself or my wife were angry about it because we both believed all things work together for good as God had taught us in Romans 8.28.

Please don’t criticize me for not getting out of service when I could have gotten out of it because I only had a few months left on my enlistment when I got my orders for Vietnam at the Military Severe Warning Center in the Federal Office Building Center in Kansas City, Missouri. I can take your criticism, because I have been, and still am, being educated by Jesus Christ. He indwells my soul as Almighty God and the Everlasting Father. I will tell you who I am today totally by the grace of God. By his Spirit in me through His Holy Word, Jesus has taught me that I am an unprofitable servant, but that he will never leave me nor forsake me. Jesus has been teaching me since I was eternally saved at age 12 to let his mind grow in me, just like Jesus informed Peter he still needed to be converted after he was already saved, scripturally baptized by John, and observed the First Lord’s Supper with Jesus Christ as a member of his New Testament Church. After I have pastured for 40 plus years God has changed me from a man who thought he could handle any problem with God’s help. God has converted me into a small, insignificant child who is not God’s helper. I am now a helpless child who trusts in the manger child to deliver the church I pastor, because Jesus has taught me who he is, but it took me a long time to understand it. I know who he is because he caused Isaiah to teach me Jesus is God. My wife and I learned who Jesus was as we raised our 5 girls and 2 boys. They all knew who Jesus was when her soul went to be where Jesus rules today. Both of us were madly in love from the day we met in Georgia and are still madly in love soul to soul. But we learned to love Jesus more than we loved each other. I thank God for the life he gave us together and before he put us together. I have enjoyed every minute of it, even in tribulation, and so did she. We are still madly in love Soul to Soul. We both believed what Isaiah wrote about Jesus.

“The End Of Not Yet” Is Finally Arriving – Part 3

In Part I, an exposition of Matthew 24:1-6, Mark 13:7, and Luke 21:9 was given.

In Part 2, a thorough exposition of Luke 21:10 was given as it related to its disassociation from 21:9, because by the use of “tote elegen” for “then said he,” it indicated that a new subject was being introduced, so that the “wars” of verse 9 are not related to “nation shall rise against nation” in verse 10.

Luke 21:9,10 – But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by. [10] Then said he (tote elegen) unto them, nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

In Part 2, a case was made to show the root word “egeiro,” translated as “rise” in verse 10, means to “come to life, to rise from sleep, or to come into existence.” And I showed numerous Scriptures where it was used in order to make that point. A case was also made to show that the word “against” is “epi,” and that its basic meaning is “on” or “upon.” So the claim was made that “Nation shall rise (egeiro) against (epi) does not in any way refer to war, but rather the ever increasing number of nations that have come to life in the last 53 years, rising one upon another from the 51 charter members of the United Nations in 1945 to 160 by 1989, and to 200 in 2003. Nothing like this has ever happened in history. But I promised, at the close of part 2, to provide additional proof that “Nation shall rise against nation” does not refer to increasing wars, but rather to an increasing rise in the number of new nations every coming to life, and raising one upon another. And I will proceed to present additional proof at this time.

Immediately after Matthew and Mark list the signs that give the answer to the second question they asked him, which was, “And what shall be the sign of thy coming,” Jesus gives the general name for the four things he has listed in the expression, “All these are the beginning of sorrows.”

Matthew 24:7,8 – For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. [8] All these are the beginning of SORROWS (ODIN)

The God-Breathed word for SORROWS is ODIN. You may look in any Greek Lexicon from any time period, and you will always find this listed centrally as the definition for ODIN – “The pains a woman suffers in the travail of childbirth, a woman’s birth pains.” The disciples knew quite well what ODIN meant. When the Olivet Discourse was written, they had no hospitals, no painkillers, and midwives delivered the babies. If a baby was lodged sideways in the womb, no one knew how to remove the baby through the stomach, and the mother and child died. The pain of normal childbirth is painful enough, but these men had listened to the shrill dying cries of women that traveled for great distances. They knew what ODIN meant. When true labor pains begin, the first pain hurts, but the next hurts a little more, the next more and closer to its precedent, and harder and closer, and harder and closer, and harder and closer, until finally the baby arrives. This is the manner the occurrence of the four things he listed as SORROWS would follow as signs his second coming was drawing near

The four things he associated with the “sorrows” that are to be signs that his coming is drawing near are: (1) nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, (2) Earthquakes, (3) Pestilences, and (4) Famines.

Luke 21:10,11 – Then said he unto them, nation (ethnos) shall rise against nation, (ethnos) and kingdom against kingdom: [11] And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

Luke did not refer to them as the “beginning of sorrows” because he added “fearful sights and great signs,” which are not a part of the time of sorrows, but rather a part of Christ’s answer to the third question. They will mark the end of the world (the Gentile age), and are associated with the 2nd Advent of Christ at Armageddon. I will be showing why this is the case in future Blog expositions.

The number of new nations coming to life, and rising one upon another, started to increase like a woman’s birth pains at the end of World War II. Earthquakes started to follow the birth pains pattern in 1967. The pestilences began to follow the pattern in 1980. Famines began to follow the pattern in the early eighties, and continued to increase after 1993. I will deal with each one of these separately, Lord willing, in future parts of the Olivet Discourse, but Part 4 will deal with Luke 21:12 to 17, and I promise you will find it interesting.

The word “Ethnos” does not appear in Luke 21:9 because he is referring to the many wars and commotions that he knew would start around the long fringes of the vast Roman after his ascendance on the Mount of Olives.

“Ethnos”is translated as Gentiles (plural) 93 times, 64 times as Nations, 5 times as Heathen, and 2 times as People.

I am positive we are going to see ever increasing local ethnic riots and, by the time of the 2nd Advent, when they have climbed to a max in both number and intensity.

I know exactly why man’s heart has triggered ethnic riots and ethnic cleansing. I have listened since I was 12 years to man’s explanations of why ethnic riots and ethnic cleansing, Why I am certain I know the reason – The Lord taught me from His Word.

I was born in 1932 with a heart just like Jeremiah described, and I did not know that until I was 12 years old.

Many have never believed in Jesus and still don’t believe they have such a heart.

The ISIS does not believe their false God Allah has a Son, and they have hearts just as Jeremiah describes an ungodly heart. They have no conscience in performing the heartless act of ethnic cleansing.

Jeremiah 17:9,10 – The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? [10] I the Lord search the heart I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

When God saves a Soul he seals it eternally, and then desires to convert it to HIS WAY, HIS TRUTH, AND HIS LIFE as the Soul lives the remainder of its life in its sinful physical body of flesh.

I Corinthians 15:50 – Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Galatians 2:20,21 – I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. [21] I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

The ISIS ethnic cleansing is occurring in the Middle East because Islam does not know God.

The reason ethnic race riots I have observed since I started grade school in 1937 HAVE NOT primarily occurred because Americans did not know God. I believed there was a God since I was 4 years old when my Aunt Mae died in 1936, but I didn’t know Jesus until I was 12.

The local ethnic riot races are going to increase for several reasons: (1) All saved souls still have carnal hearts like mine and the world population has exploded since 1932 – More souls to increase local ethnic riots. (2) The sudden rise of the nations rising one upon another after World Wars Numbers I and 2 and the creation of the United Nations – More nations means more different ethnic borders which means more ethnic riots and more ethnic cleansing.

The word “ethnos” does not occur in Luke 21:9, but it occurs twice in Luke 21:10.

An ethnicity, or ethnic group, is a socially-defined category of people who identify with each other based on common ancestral, social, cultural, or national experience. Today’s City of Jerusalem will once again fall after Obama leaves office, but it will not fall to another Roman Prince. It will fall to an Islamic Caliph Antichrist as he drives Israel into the Negev Wilderness, and Jerusalem will be trodden down by his forces for 42 months. Jerusalem will be retaken by Israel led by the Messiah when he returns at his 2nd Advent to end the final battle of Armageddon.

Revelation 11:2,3 – But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. [3] And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

In Parts 1 through 6, an exposition was given that covered Mark 13:1-8, Matthew 24:1-8, and Luke 21:5 to 19. Part 6 completed Luke 21:12-19 as an answer to the first of three questions the disciples asked Jesus, which are found in Matthew 24:3, the first question being, “when shall these things be?” They wanted to know what signs would be occurring from that time until the temple was leveled.

Matthew 24:3 – And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

Part 6 ended with the exposition of Luke 21:19, so Part 7 will continue to answer this first question, beginning with Luke 21:20, which was a prophecy that was fulfilled by Roman General Cestius Gallas in 66 A.D.

Luke 21:20 – And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

There were actually two surroundings of Jerusalem by Roman troops in the Jewish War. The first occurred in response to Menahem’s breaking open of Herod’s armory on Masada, after which he quickly distributed its weaponry to his fellow Jerusalem citizens and the wilderness bandits of Masada. The events that transpired after that are fully described in the account of the JEWISH WARS by Josephus, the great historian of the time. All of this culminated in the slaughter of the Jewish colony in Caesarea, capital city of the Governor, with more than 20,000 suffering death in the brutal slaughter. This event marked the true beginning of the Jewish War. The Jews, in response to this carnage, began their war against Rome. The Roman general Cestius Gallas was commissioned by Rome to put down the Jewish rebellion. He enjoyed great success in city after city, until he came to Jerusalem. After having put down the rebellion in areas north and west of Jerusalem, he came to set up his camp in a place called Gibeon, six miles from Jerusalem. Eventually, after several skirmishes, Cestius surrounded Jerusalem, and set his camp headquarters on Mt. Scopus. His troops kept the city surrounded for some time, thinking the Jews would surrender. Then, and even today, military strategists are amazed he did not attack the city, rather than surrounding it for some time. They say he could have almost walked into the city and the Jews would have capitulated. But suddenly he withdrew from around the city and headed north. When the Jews saw this, they took courage, and viciously attacked the rear flanks of his retreating army. The Jewish losses were negligible, but the Romans and their allies lost 5,300 infantrymen and 480 cavalrymen to death. The surrounding of the city, and the battle, occurred in 66 A.D., and incurred the wrath of the Emperor of Rome. Nero dispatched the Roman general Vespasian to Israel to put down the Jewish rebellion. Vespasian’s march across Syria and northern Israel is not pertinent to this exposition, so I will not list its events. He eventually smashed Jericho and all the smaller cities around Jerusalem, and would have gone against Jerusalem, but was recalled to Rome and declared Emperor in 69 A.D., leaving his son Titus in change of the Roman legions in Israel. Titus surrounded Jerusalem, and began his siege against it in March of 70 A.D., capturing the Fortress Antonia in July, firing Herod’s Temple in August, and desolating the entire city in September. The desolations of the Jewish War ended with Mesada’s fall to the Romans in 73 A.D., which had been in Jewish hands since being conquered in 66 A.D. by insurgents. So, when Jerusalem fell in 70 A.D., Vaspasian was the Emperor of Rome and his son Titus, as a Prince of Rome, came in like a flood and desolated the city, and until the end of the war desolations continued across southern Israel.

Luke 21:21 – Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.

After the first surrounding of Jerusalem by Cestius, Josephus indicates that “many of the most imminent of the Jews swam away from the city, as from a ship when it was going to sink.” It is quite likely that many believers left the city when he withdrew, and never returned, taking it as a fulfillment of the warning in Luke 21:20. When Titus came some four years later to surround it for the second time, some have written that very few believers were to be found in the city, since they believed the first surrounding was the sign of warning the city would soon be made desolate. However, since the siege began at the time of Passover, few believers would have been in the city. But there is no question that after Jerusalem was surrounded by Titus, it was made desolate some seven months later, and I am convinced this is the desolation that Jesus spoke of in Luke 21:20. In modern day terminology they were advised “to get out o’ town and head fo de hills, and don’t u’ cum bak no moe, no moe.”

In October 2003, I presented the seventh trumpet pre-wrath position at the Missionary Baptist Seminary in Midwest City, Oklahoma, over a period that lasted from 8 A.M. to 10:30 P.M., with a break for lunch and dinner, and several short breaks for water and circulation relief. I am very grateful to one of the fine pastors there for a question he asked concerning the seven seals. He asked me where I placed them. I had not discussed them, and he wanted to be able to envision where I put them. I am grateful he asked me, because it suddenly made me very aware of something I knew, but had not really thought about for years. I covered the seals in my second book, “The Tribulation Triad,” when I wrote it in the late seventies, but during the 35 years I lectured in more than 700 churches, seminaries, colleges, and universities. I have never, to the best of my recollection, formally presented in my lectures the “where” the first 4 seals fit in the tribulation period. I have discussed what they represent at great length, but simply did not position them as to where they belong in the tribulation period, but I did teach it at Dardanelle MBC. There is a very good reason as to why I didn’t place them specifically in the tribulation period – I did not expect most people would believe it, but I did put it in my books, and did lecture on it at my home Church. If anyone, anywhere, asked me what I believed about the first 6 Seals, I told them. So here is why I did not make it a part of my lecture – I did not believe the first five seals were during the tribulation period, and that the first four describe the events Jesus referred to as “the beginning of sorrows” in Matthew 24:7,8, Mark 13:8, and Luke 21:10,11.

Matthew 24:7,8 – For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. [8] All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Mark 13:8 – For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

Luke 21:10,11 – Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: [11] And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

I certainly do not believe we are now in the tribulation period, because I have long taught the first seal opened following the end of the First World World on this planet, and that the others began to open in chronological when World War II began. I should have presented this series at the time we started this web site several years ago, but better late than never. It is diagrammatically pictured on page 154 of “The Tribulation Period.” Even though I did not believe the first part of the tribulation period was going to last three and one-half years because I believed the three “he’s” in Daniel 9:27 are Messiah the Prince, and not the antichrist, knowing the vast majority of the prophetic teachers of today believe it is the antichrist, I showed the first three and one-half years on my diagram, and jammed all of it as occurring during the fifth seal. I believe when seal six opens it starts the last three and one half years of the tribulation. I do believe there will be a brief period of false peace just before the opening of the sixth seal, during the time of the fifth seal, but it will be of much, much shorter duration that most believe today. I have always taught that the sixth seal is a preview of all the horrifying events that will occur from the seventh seal through the seven trumpets and seven vials. At the time I wrote “The Tribulation Triad” I placed the time of Satan’s casting out of heaven (Revelation 12:7-12) in what most identify as the first three and one half years of a seven-year tribulation period. I have since changed my mind. Do I still change my mind about prophecy? I do not change my mind about the doctrines of salvation, the ordinances of the church, or that Jesus is coming, but I do indeed continue to change my mind about the many things in prophecy. If you are not prepared to do that, you will never learn anything. The only one who could lecture about prophecy, and never have to correct what he taught, is the Great Three-In-One. I feel sorry for all those who think they got it right the first time, and still teach exactly the same things they taught when they first taught prophecy fifty years ago. I have changed what I once believed about some things, and hopefully, if I don’t grow to think I am God, and understand it as well as He does, I will continue to change. God got it right the first time, the rest of us will have to keep changing our minds if we want to be more accurate in our interpretation of what God already knows.

I will begin this series with the first seal and, if the Lord is willing, will go through the seals, and then identify how I believe the seals, trumpets, and vials are laced into a pattern from the seventh seal through the last vial. Again, I am grateful I was asked where the seals fit in the tribulation period, because it made me realize that what I have long believed about it had become such so engrained in me that I proceeded like the hearer already knew where I placed them, which was a real goof on my part. I knew that the vast majority of writers place the seals in what is known as the tribulation period. Knowing this, I should have explained the seal positioning at some point before he asked the question, and it suddenly made me realize that I should have put this on our web pages when we first began. So I will be putting it out on updates for some time, giving the seals in chronological order.The riders on the first four seals do not picture specific individuals – they do not represent men, but rather all of mankind. They represent four phases through which mankind was to pass preceding the tribulation period. I do not believe the tribulation period has seven full years, because Jesus fulfilled more than three years of it after his baptism. The horse colors portray the characteristics of four phases in chronological order: white for peaceful conquests, red for the blood shed in wars, black for the dark eyes associated with famine, and pale for the color of death associated with pestilence or a corpse.

Revelation 6:1,2 – And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. [2] And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. The first great world war to engulf all the known world that existed when John wrote the book of Revelation in about 96 A.D. during the great Roman Empire, which was the fourth beast of Chapter Seven in Daniel, out of which a final revived empire of antichrist was to arise in the latter days, was what we called World War I. Out of World War I came the Balfour Declaration, which did finally lead to the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948. The Balfour Declaration was a British statement of policy issued in 1917 by Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour. It stated British support for a Jewish national home in Palestine without prejudice to the rights of the non-Jewish population. The white horse rider represents the state of mankind that existed between the two great world wars that occurred between two German tyrants. The color of the horse, like a white dove, symbolizes the state of peace that existed between 1918 and 1932 across the territories recognized as the Roman Empire during its maximum extent. I believe most of the prophecies in the book of Revelation will be fulfilled across the known world of John’s day, not in the western hemisphere.

A long series of conquests by Hitler’s shaking of the bow, without firing any arrows, allowed the relative peace to continue until 1939. He was able to occupy several of the lands to his west, southwest, south, and southeast by a series of bluffs, without firing a shout. They succumbed to his threats, and he occupied large sections of nations around Germany. Threats, rather than arrows, secured him much land. The Prime Minister of Great Britain, Arthur Neville Chamberlain, followed a policy appeasing Hitler, rather than confronting him. So, in 1938, he went to Germany and signed the Munich Pact, which allowed Hitler to occupy part of Czechoslovakia. It was a time of peace where those who “went forth conquering, and to conquer,” did so by bluff rather than by blood. He returned home with the cry “Peace in our times.” The first of the four horse riders has come and gone. He departed the scene when Hitler invaded Poland in 1939. That is when the red horse rider came on the scene. I will cover his activities in Part 2.

The Seals, the Trumpets, and the Vials of Revelation

Part 3 – The Third Seal

The first four seals of Revelation open before the period known as the tribulation period. They occur during the period of time Jesus called “the beginning of sorrows.”

Matthew 24:7,8 – For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. [8] All these are the beginning of sorrows.

The first seal has already opened and peaked, then fell. The second, third, and fourth seals are already open, and will all remain open until the end of the tribulation period, and all three will rapidly intensify when it begins.

Their primary area of fulfillment is the maximum extent of land occupied by the Roman Empire in the first and second century. The “whole earth,” “all the world,” and similar expressions in the prophetic writings of both the Old and New Testament periods, in many instances, are hyperbolic, and do not refer to the world as we know it today, but to the world as the people, to whom they wrote, knew it from 600 B.C. to 135 A.D. The most severe judgments of the second, third, and fourth horse riders, along with the mark of the beast, will occur in this area.

I have known for a long time that if I lived to my allotted threescore and ten yea s, I would see the third seal open in the area known to those that lived in the era of Roman domination. The African continent was known to exist at the time of John’s writings, and that is where I knew it had to start. Good ole Mr. Wills, my ninth grade teacher in Junior High School, is the one who introduced me to this in 1947. It was such a simple thing, but such a certain thing, that I had no fear of being wrong about it when I wrote my first book in the seventies. It was based on food supply and population increase.

Revelation 6:5,6 – And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. [6] And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

The population explosion, particularly in Africa, which has suddenly burst on the scene, should be no surprise to the human race. The world’s population has roughly, in a somewhat similar pattern, followed a formula of daily penny doubling. Suppose someone proposed to give you five billion dollars if you would double a penny he gave you for forty days, and then give him all the proceeds of the doubling process on the fortieth day – Would you take the deal? A single penny on the first day would produce two cents on the second day, four cents on the third day, eight cents on the fourth day, sixteen cents on the fifth day, thirty-two cents on the sixth day, sixty-four cents on the seventh day, and only a dollar and twenty-eight cents on the eighth day. So, based on what you’ve read so far, it seems like a pretty good deal. But on day forty you would have to fork over more than five billion dollars. This principle has been the backbone of when the famine prophecy prediction would occur ever since eight people stepped off the Ark of Noah. This principle opened the famine seal, and will cause it to intensify until Armageddon.

The world’s famine outbreaks in its developing countries have been occurring closer and closer together in time since World War II, and the trend will accelerate until the Second Advent. Why? A few thousand years ago eight men and women descended in an ark “upon the mountains of Ararat,” and then began to multiply. At first, like the penny, the increase was insignificant from a numerical standpoint. When Jesus was born the world population had only reached about 200 million. When Columbus sailed the ocean blue in 1492 it had barely reached 400 million. But, like the multiplying principle of the penny, it began to accelerate noticeably about the time of the Civil War, and exploded after the Great Depression of the thirties. In 1989 the world population reached five billion and, the same year, eleven million of the earth’s residents died of starvation. The population of our planet passed six billion in October of 1999, and is predicted to reach ten billion in 2030. Some say it will only reach between eight and nine billion by 2030. But even if that is true, how can the additional three plus billion be fed, if eleven million died of starvation in 1989 with a population of only five million.

Some say, “don’t worry, agricultural technology is on the way to solving the famine problem.” No way! The latest U.N. study found ten percent of the world’s soil profile badly damaged. The three-year study accessed the soil conditions on a global scale, and involved more than 250 soil scientists. It marked the first time since World War II that soil profiles had been accessed on a global scale. As reported by Larry B. Stammer in the Los Angeles Times, the study found that “about two-thirds of all seriously eroded land is in Asia and Africa, home to most of the world’s poor. The article, using the report as its basis, proclaimed: “Despite the much acclaimed great green revolution of the past several decades, which have produced unprecedented gains in food production by the introduction of fertilizers and hybrid grains, per-capita food production has declined in some eighty developing countries in the past decade” The 1993 report, “Vital Signs, The Trends That Are Shaping Our Future,” as reported in the Arkansas Democrat Gazette of July 18, 1993, stated: “This new report shows the first clear sign that population is outpacing the available food supply for humans. The trend is mostly because of record world population growth, but also reflects a slowdown after decades of increasing food supplies. The main sources of food – farms, ranches, and oceans – all are approaching, or may have reached, their maximum per-capita output, according to the Vital Signs Report.”

The simple truth is this, in 1993, for the first time since records began to be kept, world food utilization exceeded world food production. Utilization continued to exceed food production until 1996, and a massive endeavor was made by technology to catch up with utilization. The endeavor allowed food production to pass utilization in 1996, and it continued to exceed utilization until 1999, but the population passed six billion in October of 1999, and the production again fell below utilization, where it has remained to the present. In April of 2003, a report published by the International Committee of the Fourth International, stated that 200 million people in Africa are malnourished. The world food production has not been able to keep up with the stork in the twenty-first century, and the disparity can only increase with an increasing population growth.

The third horse rider will gallop faster and faster as he heads for Armageddon. I contend that the famine now occurring in Africa, which was a part of the prophetic world when the prophecies were written, is the beginning of the fulfillment of those prophecies, and that famine will spread out of this area into all sections of the world that were known at the time the book of Revelation was written by John. There will be a serious food shortage in the United States, but it will in no way be comparable to the famines that ravage what is referred to as the “Old World,” or the pre-Columbus world. I believe the vast majority of “Old World” residents, both religious and non-religious, will take the mark of the beast to get food without hesitation, but I do not believe the mark of the beast will be put on the residents of the United States. I believe that Revelation 13:16,17 applies only to that part of today’s world that was known when John wrote Revelation.

Revelation 13:16,17 – And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: [17] And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Most followers of Islam have no idea whatsoever about even the existence of this prophecy. Many Catholic priests have not taught their masses in Europe about this, and only a few Catholics understand anything about it. The same is true among all the different sects of religion that are spread across the “Old World.” They will all take it without hesitation to obtain food.

I believe the antichrist’s caliphate will, at first, take in the vast Arab area of Islam from Morocco to Pakistan, but it will spread out quickly like water, and when the time for the final battle of Armageddon arrives, he will dominate all of the “Old World.”

The word “AFTER” in Daniel 7:24 indicates the 11th Horn Beast will be AFTER the 10. Considering what is now happening in the Middle East it would take time for this Antichrist Beast to unite them into a fully coordinated logistical Army. I do not believe Antichrist’s united Horns will attack Israel to start the Tribulation Period until after —   leaves offices. How long after he leaves will it take for the Antichrist to unite the 10 horns? WATCH while you wait for it to begin and each day will make it one day closer.

Part 4 – The Fourth Seal

The first four seals of Revelation open before the period known as the tribulation period. They occur during the period of time Jesus called “the beginning of sorrows.”

Matthew 24:7,8 – For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. [8] All these are the beginning of sorrows.

The first seal opened with the end of WW-1 and ended when Hitler invaded Poland to open the Red Horse Rider Events . The second, third, and fourth seals are already open, and will remain open until the end of the tribulation period, and all three will rapidly intensify when it begins. Its major effects will be experienced in the “Old World.” The word used for “pestilence” is “loimos,” which means “any deadly infectious disorder.” Death is the usual resultant of most deadly infectious disorders, and the corpse of pestilence often has a pale, greenish-yellow, jaundice appearance, as is found representing the color of the pale horse in the fourth seal.

Revelation 6:7,8 – And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. [8] And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Many plagues have passed through mankind since Adam’s fall, but few have generated a massive epidemic that just kept on accelerating, with seemingly no end or cure on the horizon. Cholera, small pox, typhoid, bubonic plague, and so on, have appeared in short bursts like false labor. AIDS was the deadly infectious virus that swept across the globe like wildfire. HIV cases worldwide increased from a trace in 1980 to more than 5 million in 1985, to more than 10 million in 1990, to more than 20 million in 1995, to 35 million in 2000, and now stand at 45 million in 2003. AIDS, the dreadful blossom of HIV, was first reported in a British sailor, that died from it in England in 1959. The hardest hit areas were those who are part of the “Old World” that was the known world during the Roman Empire. Africa is by far the hardest hit area, There were 5 million new HIV cases in 2002, and 3.1 million died of HIV/AIDS the same year. We still do not have a vaccination or a cure for it but we are now able to give much longer life to those with HIV, but people still get infected by it. And now we have Ebola spreading in the Old World.

Ebola and HIV are not the only deadly infectious disorders in the “Old World.” The World Health Organization fears that tuberculosis will kill millions during the next 25 years. The emergence of numerous drug-resistant strains, and the spread of many, have both hampered efforts by health agencies to slow the renewed spread of the consumptive pestilence. Numerous new infectious diseases have come to life since 1970.

Lord willing, I will present a summary of the final result of the second, third, and fourth riders activities in a future Blog. We are headed for an unbelievable chain of horrifying events when Seal 6 is opened, but only a handful believes it. They are still looking for a European Antichrist. Multitudes believe that the 3 “He’s” in Daniel 7:27 are not Jesus. Multitudes believe that we have 7 full prophetic years left to be fulfilled in Daniel’s 70 weeks. Multitudes believe that all the saved will be caught out before the Tribulation Period begins. Multitudes believe they are going to be caught out before Trumpet 7 sounds. Revelation 6:7,8 – And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. [8] And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

The fourth seal pestilence is represented by a pale colored horse. It is a yellow tint sometimes seen in the change of human color before death. I covered the fourth seal in Part 4. The worldwide massive human death after Seal 6 will be staggering, and most of it will occur in the known Old World when John wrote the Book of Revelation between 96 and 100 A.D. But many will be martyred from now until the 6th Seal opens. Most of these will occur in the Eastern Hemisphere where heaviest Muslim populations exist.

Since I have already covered the first half of Part 4, I will now finish the second half in Part 4A.

Part 5 – Affects of Three Seal Riders on Earth that lead to melting flesh at the last battle of Armageddon.

Revelation 6:3-8 – And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. [4] And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. [5] And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. [6] And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. [7] And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. [8] And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Revelation 6:8B – And POWER was given unto THEM over the FOURTH PART of the EARTH, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with THE BEASTS of the earth.

Some seem to have the impression that these three riders pass their individual judgments on the earth, with each one departing the scene when the next one shows up, and then the last one, the pale horse rider death, departs the scene as soon as the fifth seal opens. I don’t know where the idea came from, but I am convinced that these three riders are going to be galloping until the end of the last 1260 days of the tribulation, and will be striding at their greatest pace at Armageddon. The red horse pictures bloodshed, the black horse represents famine, and the pale horse represents death. These three phenomena will be experiencing their peak occurrences during the final great battle of Armageddon. The “them” in verse eight refers specifically to the rider on the red horse (death by weapon of war), the rider on the black horse (death by hunger), and the rider on the pale horse (death by pestilence). By the close of the tribulation period they will have killed billions across one-fourth of the earth (the known world in John’s day). The word translated as “earth” is “ges,” and it does not mean population, it means “earth.” Many writers try to make this a fourth of the world’s population, but that cannot be the case, because “ges” never means population.

The last feast of wildlife on the slain bodies will reach a maximum at Armageddon, and it will be the time when wildlife beasts eat the physical flesh of 10 beast kings that followed Antichrist, but the Antichrist and the False Prophet will be cast ALIVE into a lake of fire where their flesh will be instantly melted, along with the millions of the Antichrist’s Army on both sides of the Jordan River. (Read Birth Pang 16 and Prophecy Update 135).

Ezekiel 39:4 – Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.

Revelation 19:17,18 – And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; [18] That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

Isaiah 66:15,16 – For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. [16] For by fire and by his sword will the Lord plead with all flesh: and the slain of the Lord shall be many.

These three riders will still be going strong at Armageddon.
